Most residential stumps are ground out below ground level, usually 10-30cm depending on what’s planned for the space, in under an hour. It’s mechanical, not chemical, so there’s no waiting period before the area is usable again. Where access is genuinely restricted, steep, overgrown, or too close to a retaining wall or underground services, we assess the site first and may recommend stump poisoning instead as part of the same service, rather than forcing machinery into a spot it can’t safely work.
